I agree about WiFi, but I prefer a phone that can run apps without having to get Apple's seal of approval. I don't need to get all my apps in one place. - Alvin Ashcraft

I've had a good experience with Win 7 so far as well. It runs faster on my ThinkPad T42 with 1gb RAM than Vista does on my T60 with 2gb. No crashes yet. - Alvin Ashcraft

really interesting responses on twitter about this... about 75% do, and the rest don't because they "don't want other people's opinion's coloring their own." - Veronica
Totally depends on the forum/post/website and on the number of responses there has been. For the most part, yeap! I am not worried about other people opinions changing my own, sometimes there's a valid point and it helps me reflect on the topic. *shrug* Like Tac said above "usually, but not always." - Karnatos
I think of it as a conversation: I have my own opinion to begin with. But still prefer to listen to (read) all first and comment on post last. - Handem
Well said, Wilma! It depends on how many comments there are and the topic of the original post. I don't want to spend all day reading through everybody else's $0.02 just to throw mine in the pot, but a sampler: say about $0.30 -$0.40 worth is enough usually to get the general tone. - steplow = Steve Lowe
When the bulk of the comments are "First!", then why bother? - Jason Wong

Yes, of course when writing a long comment, invariably someone writes a comment first that I don't see when writing my long comment. - Alex Scoble CISSP
I like to read the comments, but sometimes I jump the gun a little. - Pete Delucchi

I was driving and couldn't comment until now. Generally I don't read them all, first I search them.. good ol search button, then I read the first page, if its really good.. ill read more. So, do you read them all?!. Now on to more important things.. did you get more replies via Twitter or FF? :) ps. I love the FF edit button, tho I think I use it to much.... - Socom
I often comment on already-highly-commented articles such as those on Yahoo and Engadget. Trying to follow those comment streams, as well as trying to process the various rating systems (such as Engadget's Highest/Lowest Ranked), is often too much for my little brain. - Eric Geller
Most of the time. I don't want to be repetitive, and my memory is so short that I often count on the comments of others to remind me if a point was or wasn't made before I wade in, especially if the post was a link to something sorta lengthy. - MiɳiMagɘ (AlwaysMiniMage)
Usually, I make an effort to read the comments so that I can not only put in my two cents, but also interact with the other commenters. - J. D. Ebberly
Always. Hate to discover that I pretty much repeated the same thing someone else said before me. It's like going to a party wearing the same outfit as someone else. Ok, men don't wear outfits or even use the word outfit so forget that analogy. k? - paisano

I make the effort, usually. Unless it's, oh, over 100 comments or so - then I skim. - Karen Mohler
