I personally like .com as the premier domain, but for some reason I
find .info domains to have the same or better ring as .net, and even
feel like .net is a bad domain name.
It really depends on what kind of site it is, I think, ie:
CatToys.info
CatToys.net
The former looks like an information site, the latter looks like a
