@rahsheen: agree on general principle... but i think all of them -- twhirl, posty, tweetdeck -- are all good starts... it's all still 'beta' software - .LAG
They are definitely good starts, but I agree with Roger in that things could be done a lot more efficiently and I don't see why they exist as they are now. It's kinda frustrating because all the pieces are there, but nobody has put them together "right" - ♫ Rahsheen™
@LAG. Its always beta so for me there is no excuse. @Rah glad you agree. My angle was admittedly harshly worded but Dave wrote a really nice one talking more about how to fix the problem rather than how it was broken here - http://tinyurl.com/58z3ny Cheers Rah for sharing ;) - Roger Kondrat
In general I agree. But let me explain the other side of the coin. I receive lot of feature requests for Posty: "it could do this, that, bla bla bla. It is very rare that alls the requests/suggestions are harmonizable in a coherent application. Users have this tendency to suggest features for their personal use, and that is the way it is meant to be. But the programmer/designer has to evaluate whether a feature makes happy a few users and unhappy, or indifferent, the rest. Personally that is the way I am trying to work on Posty. Hope it will be successful. - funkyboy
