I'm not sure why, but it seems like communities have these kinds of blowouts in clusters, then they calm down again. But advice to higher-profile bloggers: be careful of what you say about others, because you lead the charge. I hate the whole a-list b-list z-list thing, but there are still louder voices than others, and calling someone out by name is usually just mean. - Karoli

The diff with the Mommybloggers is that, while the tech bloggers have these blowouts that go on for months and never totally resolve, when the chips are down, the mommybloggers close ranks. - Cyndy
