"Thanks for the quick response. I'd been considering changing the entry naming scheme. I've got a very old style numeric numbering. I don't particularly care about SEO, but I've heard the more modern style of title-in-the-url is much better. I'd also considered switching domains at one point to something easier to remember for non-hams. In any case, thanks for the offer. I'll probably not being doing either any time soon, though I might check out the code. (It's only 160 lines of perl; can't be that complex. :) ) Is disqus_url used on Disqus' side to link back to the original page? And, if so, is there any way via the API to modify that? I didn't see anything obvious. From my end, changing a big block of URLs already requires a mapping from the old to the new for permanent redirect purposes. Doing that on the MT plugin side is fine for recovering comments from the old URL scheme. But, eventually, the new URL scheme might be useful from the other side, too.
