Twitter Inc., the 18-month-old San Francisco micro-blogging company, has sensational buzz, a dramatic increase in users, increasing competition from copycats — but no clear strategy for making money.
Barack Obama famously has an account, although he hasn’t posted anything since Nov. 5. Al Gore recently signed on, and so did Lance Armstrong.
