The iTouch (iPhone and iPod Touch) platform represents one of the best opportunities for any developer today. I haven't seen any sales data regarding the number of iPod Touche sold to date, but a conservative estimate would be that there are now well over 25-30 million iPhones and iTouches in the marketplace. Any talented coder would be crazy to pass up this opportunity. - James
