I've been thinking a lot about social search for a while. And although there's likely to be a lot of worrying and fear-mongering about it in our industry (and others), overall I think that it's a really good thing. As presented here, social search helps our causes' best supporters create search structures that aid them in returning to our web sites. - Jonathon D. Colman
Remember that search is, essentially *already* influenced by social actions. As web managers, we all ascribe credibility and relevancy to resources online by linking to them -- and search engines take note of those actions when they rank sites. - Jonathon D. Colman
