While it is just a guess, I would think its because the fairfax's AFR is costing them money. The service is bad, the article cost is too high, the security is more a pain than useful and the site is extremely slow. Why can they not learn from publications like the wall street journal that have gone back to online add revenue to support their model?? Besides, it is not as if they write most of their own articles. Have you tried counting the number of stories from the AAP or Blomberg?? - James Fridley
