Interesting. I'm going to think this one over, but definitely interesting. (kenzoid, btw, but the extension is disabled for now, while I poke at the configurability) - Ken Kennedy
Ken, let me know what you think of the configurability and if you have any questions (fraser[at]adaptiveblue[dot]com) - Fraser
impossible for me to sign up. glue got all confused with invite codes, email etc. I reached my threshold trying 3 times. tip: make it simple AND make it work (not OR) - Alberto Escarlate
i had a few issues getting glue setup on windows 1st and then my mac at home but it all worked out ok in the end - its early - mike "glemak" dunn
ok. will give it another try ;-) - Alberto Escarlate
Hi Mike and Alberto, we're in an early preview release of the product and admittedly the invite system is not perfect but we're working on it. As we get closer to the release the requirement for the invite will be removed and the installation process will be straight forward. I'd love to hear your issues with the installation - it'll help us iron out the kinks. - Fraser

“riddle me this: if you're the dolan's and you own the cable connect into my house, the cable network i'm watching, the arena & the sports team involved you'd think you could arrange for a solid telecast and signal of tonight's ranger game since you own absolutely every aspect involved - epic fail”

One reason to invest in social media. -- Hoover’s Business Insight Zone

"In tough times, bad companies look to the wrong places to make cuts. They skimp on capital improvements, for example, while overspending on short-term items. Plenty of these folks will look past social media, thinking of it as “fluff,” instead of probing to realize that it offers all kinds of benefits that are highly cost-effective & deserve investment." - mike "glemak" dunn via Bookmarklet

Social media and games journalism - "Because of social media, I'm much more familiar with a wider range of gamers, both expert and amateur. Because of social media, I can follow along with these same critics along the entire cycle: how they felt after first being shown the game, if the game held up when they got to play it, their deeper thoughts after getting the play the final version, and, most valuable of all, how they respond to what others are saying once the game is out in the wild." - mike "glemak" dunn via Bookmarklet

"no small system can sustain contact with a large system for very long without being fundamentally changed by it. This is what is happening with businesses (the small system, no matter how large) and the Web today (the big system.) The intrinsic nature of the Web is driving major changes in how we create network-based products and services and is inexorably turning us into Web-oriented businesses." - mike "glemak" dunn via Bookmarklet

homemade sushi
October 5 at 10:36 am - Link
Woke up thinking about FF. Recalled how I'd indirectly learned from FF that fortune cookies were Japanese in origin (http://friendfeed.com/e/4d8e55...). Remembered the comment about Americans not being into eating fish heads and got a craving for sushi. Got out of bed and decide not to go get sushi and found this sabotage. - MiniMage LightBlueRanger
ha - sorry about that ;) - mike "glemak" dunn
I pick up veggie rolls from the sushi kiosk inside our local grocery store (best sushi deal in town). It's rice, nori, seasame seeds, sliced carrots, and sliced avocado. The local sushi restaurant has sweet potato tempura rolls and peanut avocado rolls. YUM! - Paul Reynolds
these were made by my 16 y/o - only vegetarian stuff w/ brown rice, he said they were awesome - mike "glemak" dunn
That's awesome! I always want to buy the sushi making kit at World Market. May have to do it sooner than later. - Paul Reynolds
I've had my kit for more years than I can remember. I still would rather someone else make it. :) - Heidi Jeffers Thibodeau
Last week I went to an Asian grocery store looking for mooncakes (been wanting to try those for some time). I found them. I also looked for Kokuho Rose rice; some Korean friends told me that was good for making sushi when I complained about how mine fell apart years ago. Could not find KR or any short grain rice. - MiniMage LightBlueRanger
