“Suerte con el proyecto Zapegato JM, buena la iniciativa de crear una productora, tipo Revision3. Vamos a ver si me uno con una idea.” (at New York 11222)
"Owning twitter is like being god and listening to everyone's thoughts. There's a lot of noise, but there's very valuable data in there as well. Just data mining it and selling it to Nielsen can make them tons of money a day. Imagine the same for every other company, the way compete.com does it. The funny part is that nothing is stoping us right now from building data mining services on all the public feeds. But there's probably so much they can do, just by allowing 3rd party companies to have twitter commands and charging those companies cents by the message that use such command, or commissions by the message. E.g. partnership with Paypal, or Google Checkout, i.e., you can send money just by doing: paypal someone@email.com USD 20 I owed you lunch, here it is that simple integration could bring twitter a lot of money if they got a percentage of the money transfered. I think they have a sick sick biz model, they just need to have critical mass for it to work in a way nobody else can..." - Gubatron
