that's nasty, personal destruction never a good thing (via Alert Thingy) - David Blumenstein
Is there some kind of web2.0 feud i'm unaware of? - Snipergirl
Throwing stones at Scoble appears to be the new pastime. - Henry Burger
Tom: the entire team at Podtech threatened to walk out if ties weren't cut with Loren because of his TechNigga videos. Visiting Israel today gives me a new perspective on getting attacked. These people get attacked with real missles and take it all in stride and, better yet, develop amazing technology. That's the best response there is, that of living better than people who throw crap your way. - Robert Scoble
east side west side - must come together. peace out. (via Alert Thingy) - Baron Miller
Just ignore him. The more you talk about this, the more you encourage him! - Nick Dynice
Nick, maybe I like it? I do notice that everyone is begging for a puppet, and our book sales are up, so having the puppets attack are not only funny but good for business, too. - Robert Scoble
@snipergirl web 2.0 IS a feud, at least that is what O'Reilly said in berlin in fall. (via Alert Thingy) - oliver gassner
I'm not sure a flamewar and the eternal conflict in the middle east is a very apt comparison. It's rather like saying ... well .. I can't think of much of anything as disparate as getting attacked on the internet versus getting attacked with rocket propelled grenades and suicide bombers. I don't see Loren Feldman in any way similar to Islamic terrorists or Palestinian suicide bombers. - Mark "Rizzn" Hopkins
@oliver gassner: I think Web 2.0 is a bit more like my middle school cafeteria. Feud connotes rhyme, reason, and longstanding loyalties. My highschool cafeteria conflicts were more about who was wearing the right brand of tennis shoes that week (though I never seemed to be on the right side of those conflicts. I sat at the table that played D&D). - Mark "Rizzn" Hopkins
@rizzn He might niot have used feud, lemme check, "it is a battle of tooth and claw, not about peace and love". attacking the big ones makes yourself more interesting. which is sad. - oliver gassner
@oliver that is very true. I've seen several folks make themselves over picking the right fights. - Mark "Rizzn" Hopkins
Really sucks when competition degrades to that level. There's plenty for everyone. - Charlie Anzman
