Photosynth mashes up with Live Maps! It allows you to navigate around the map and see a pushpin for each Photosynth in the area. You can then click the ‘launch Photosynth viewer’ link for any Photosynth to dive in and experience it. It’s a fun way to find Synths in a particular area. Try it out; this link will put you in ‘explore’ mode near seattle center. Or try Cairo at the Sphinx. Vatican city. Leaning tower of Pisa - Jas Sandhu

Congrats, Dion! It is with some sadness too, of course, as I will sincerely miss you as a co-worker, but what you guys are going to do over at Mozilla is great for the open web, and we're all cheering for you! - DeWitt Clinton
@Dare That's right, no longer at Google. Fortunately, they have some great people over there and I am looking forward to working with them in the future (also looking forward to working with your company!). - Dion Almaer
@DeWitt Thanks. It will be fun to see great products come out of Google and not have the inside scoop. It will feel like Xmas again :) - Dion Almaer
