Awful review, with many things not clear at all. Also did not appear to do any research beforehand... Linux != MS-DOS - Jake (aka Jawee)

The worst advice here is the reboot once a week whether you need it or not... I have some machines running for over a year. What do I gain by rebooting them? My main machine has been running for a couple of weeks, and that's only because I had to replace the hard drive not long ago. - Jake (aka Jawee)

"Gecko is developed primarily by Mozilla. Webkit is developed primarily by Apple. Gecko is used in Mozilla's browsers (Firefox, Seamonkey, etc.) and Webkit is used in Apple's browsers (Safari, iPhone, etc.). WebKit is also used in many third party browsers like Chrome, Midori, and Arora. Gecko is also used in my many third party browsers like Flock, Epiphany (webkit version also available), and Kazehakase. So why does the article say "Firefox on the other hand has its own rendering engine called Gecko". Gecko has been around longer and is probably used in more browsers than Webkit is. Gecko is also portable and runs on mobile devices (MicroB, Fennec, and Minimo are all available for the Nokia Internet Tablets). Gecko is free and can be implemented elsewhere. Also, another good free engine is KHTML. KHTML is implemented in Konqueror and has also been implemented in other browsers in the past (such as AWeb)." - Jake (aka Jawee)
