"An 18-year-old hacker with a history of celebrity pranks has admitted to Monday's hijacking of multiple high-profile Twitter accounts, including President-Elect Barack Obama's, and the official feed for Fox News.
The hacker, who goes by the handle GMZ, told Threat Level on Tuesday he gained entry to Twitter's administrative control panel by pointing an automated password-guesser at a popular user's account. The user turned out to be a member of Twitter's support staff, who'd chosen the weak password "happiness."" - Kathleen Anderson

"Happiness" is a weak password? Then again, since the hack worked, guess this word was an easy guess.. for someone. - Viqi French
I hope twiiter doesn't implement one of those crappy things where your password must have a letter and a number and must only be eight characters long and and you must change it every 30 days, and after that it can't be a password you've used before and it can't have the same letter more than once and it then locks you out after you screw up on it twice, sigh. - Thomas Hawk
they wont change their policy on passwords too much overhead to deal with. This was one off and that's all.Well maybe people will choose non English words for their passwords and still keep it simple. - Baba
