When I left Nawlins for the Lou in '97, I think. I took a really sweet trip on Amtrack. StL>CHI>Wisconsin Dells (I had to get off and play for awhile)>Minneapolis (more playing and music festivals)> Portland>Sacremento> jumped the train for a 'Bago to High Sierra, drove to SF (played some more)>took the Green Tortoise down to San Clemente> then back on the train to KS>and finally STL. another thumbs up for tokbox. it's painless, install free and no registration required except for the conference initiator. you can invite people with just sending them a link. for best performance and user experience be sure you have Flash 10 installed and using headphones to avoid any echo. - Berk D.
