Ordering this right now: IKEA | Tables & desks | Desks | MARKÖR | Desk

That would look good with a hutch top, too. - Rochelle
looks very... old? Have you checked out the Jerker modular work desks from IKEA? Google the examples. Great for multiple monitors and workstations! - Glenn Batuyong
Friendfeed Beacon? ;) - Tibor Holoda
Glenn, you're funny. I picked that desk because it looked old. I like IKEA but if a desk looks like it's from IKEA don't buy it. :) Just my 2 cents. - PonziPirillo

“HELP! I can't remember my Yahoo! password and I need it to get into my flickr account. Yahoo! says my DOB and/Zip don't match so they can't reissue my password. Um, so-- now what? How can I get my pictures out of flickr?”
July 9 at 6:10 pm - Link
This is scary, I wonder if they can keep my pictures? I gave them my last five zip codes and none were the right one. I have no idea how my DOB could be anything else than what it is unless it was a typo. I've emailed several times and finally called today. Still, even with a real person, no help. Same lines, like she was reading from a script. - PonziPirillo
You can't just do an "I forgot my password, please email it to me"? - Andru Edwards
No, Andru, if only it was that easy. They are making it impossible to get through. - PonziPirillo
Only thing I can recommend that I know is a common typo, a lot of people accidentally do a 6 instead of a 9 for a birthdate in the year 19xx. So, if you were born in 1980 like me, you might accidentally type 1680. I know, it's a stretch... :( - Andru Edwards
Yeah, I just went through this. I had no idea on any of the answers. Luckily I was finally able to remember my password. Good luck with yours! Try what Matt suggested. - Jordan Hofker

“what makes one social network "win" over another? Why didn't Hi5 make it? ”
July 7 at 9:54 am - Link
Hi who? - Bwana
Did anybody sign up for Hi5 on purpose? I thought it was just spam on par with Plaxo - Pat Hawks
I will occasionally get messages saying that someone added me on Hi5. I don't even remember signing up for it. There are sites that have 1 Million+ users, and they still don't "make it". Fubar.com for one. I think that part of the issue is early adoption. Be new, be different or die trying. - Bradley McSpinn
Hi5 is big down in Mexico (or is it Brazil? Somewhere down there, please ignore my ignorance) but not in the US or Canada... - Chris Thomson
I thought Hi5 was just spam, too. I think they came out at the wrong time. I remember being confused as to where I was getting all these invites from. All the sites looked the same. - ♫ Rahsheen ™ ★
Because Hi5 is the watered down cheap beer to MySpace's top shelf liquor. - Outsanity
Myspace is top shelf liquor. Yup. That must be it. - Pat Hawks
@Pat - So I wasn't the only one who groaned... - Bradley McSpinn
Because Hi5 is spam. - Andru Edwards
@Andru, that's hitting the nail on the head. I don't even think there's that many real people who joined. They may have more spammers than MySpace. - Outsanity
None of my friends or anyone else I know ever joined Hi5. - Steve Lynch via Alert Thingy
Orkut FTW? - Pat Hawks
I just looked at Orkut... Do people really use that site? - Outsanity
no - Pat Hawks
Orkut is an interesting idea, but not very good in reality. Another paper versus screen epidemic. - Bradley McSpinn
Believe it or not, Orkut is one of Google's highest traffic sources. Seriously. - Andru Edwards
because Facebook is boring. - Thomas Hawk
Yup, Andru, just not for US users. A lot of these social networks end up taking off in one country or another. In some cases, it may be intentional, but I think often, it is largely an accident. I don't know if Bebo sent out to conquer the UK. I'm pretty sure Orkut didn't set out to conquer Brasil, or that Fotolog set out to see all its growth in South America. - Erik S
Facebook... now there's Spam Capitol USA - Outsanity
Orkut is huge in Brazil and India. Almost all of my real life friends are on it. And Google has been improving it bit by bit. Nobody here uses Myspace and facebook is just getting popular. - Rahul Das
You know... I never see Google promote Orkut like they do... everything else - Outsanity
What makes it spam (hi5)? I hate to say it but most of those sites, Hi5, MySpace, Facebook all sort of look the same to me. Also, at one time everyone hated Plaxo. I remember getting really nasty emails about my inviting people. Now it's the new darling. - PonziPirillo
People like Plaxo now because 1) They STOPPED being spam and 2) Created an automated way to sync contacts across multiple platforms. Once I get MobileMe though, goodbye Plaxo ;) - Andru Edwards
A friend of mine sent me an invite a couple years ago so I signed up. I haven't touched it since. - David Cook
I tried to sign up for Plaxo. It's not for me. What makes it spam is the fact you get spammed on there. but, no matter where you go, spammers will follow. I saw some blog post on here about how it might not be long before spammers figure out how to do it on here. - Outsanity
In Portugal Hi5 is the major social network, almost all teenage school kids have profiles there. - Mário Pires
Yeah, I think Hi5 had a small success in the UK for a short time. Then everyone drifted to either Bebo or MySpace. - Jamie Clark
Are yu sure Hi5 didn't make it? What about on other continents? - Francine Hardaway
Social networks are dead. Bring on the rise of Social Web Aggregators, baby: http://siteanalytics.compete.c... - John McCrea

shot in the dark with this but, i'm guessing you eat it. call me crazy... - Outsanity
Actually my father in-law who lives near Puerto Vallarta Mexico swears by Yaca if anyone is truly interested. http://banderasnews.com/0501/h... - Mark Krynsky
I've heard "maca" has similar effect. You can buy the powder at any health food store. - Lisa Lee via fftogo
maca and yaca? and watermelon? - edythe
At least the story isn't about bananas. :) - Morton Fox
So the little blue pill is being replaced by the big green melon? - Tim via Alert Thingy
I don't think I've ever had an erection for more than four hours from watermelon... 8-/ - Steven Buehler via twhirl
Walnuts are supposed to be good too. - mentaleffluvia
maybe that's why it's the national fruit in China, and served with every meal? - clarke thomas

"The little blue pill is being replaced by the big green melon" that made me spew tea across my desk! ROFLMAO - PonziPirillo
I wonder if my wife read about this. There is half a watermelon in the fridge that was not there yesterday. - JA Castillo
saw that on the news - problem is - it's the RIND you have to eat. You know, the gross green part? And no idea how much of it. Although apparently they're working on a genetically 'improved' watermelon with the chemical factor in the red part. :\ - Lucretia Pruitt

It is cheating: With advanced technology, having sex with a robot hooker is too much like really cheating. For all intents and purposes, you're having sex with another woman. Plus, what if you want to buy your own robot hooker and keep her in the closet at home? It's a thin line between robot hooker and robot girlfriend. - Russellreno
Is having sex with a robot gigolo cheating? - SciFi Ranter Girl
good question. probably not. - Josue Salazar
No different than a dildo, unless the robot is sentient. - mentaleffluvia
Reminds me of the anime Chobits. - Oliver Ortega Chua
We don't have a lot of robot hookers in our town. You city people amaze me. - Chris Baskind
I see a movie developing here... - Justin Korn
It is cheating, not because of the realism of the robot, but because of your intentions. - Morton Fox
Morton, what intentions? Is masturbation cheating? - mentaleffluvia
um... do men not care WHAT they have sex with? If the sex is BECAUSE it is a robot hooker then that is a kink yeah? I say no, not cheating, inanimate objects should not be an emotional threat. - Allison
Chris B - Check with your mechanic. You'll be surprised. - Russellreno
Until you can leave your SO to have a emotional relationship with said robot, no. - Dana Franks via twhirl
depends on how long it lasts. I'd like to see that one CHEATERS! - Eric Truman
Only if you get caught. - Jonathon
I think the robot would have to pass the Turing Sex Test before it could be considered cheating. To pass the Turing Sex Test a reasonable person wouldn't be able to tell if they were having sex with a machine or with a human. Of course, what if, at some point robots surpass humans in satisfying sexual desires? - Tad, TV's Patrick Duffy
Only if you didn't get the one I told you to get... - PonziPirillo

Yeah, it got old real quick. I'm not so sure that was worth seeing in the theater - could've been a rental. I'm hoping Hancock will be better. - l0ckergn0me
I'm still having trouble with the idea that it has almost zero relation to the source property, outside of the title. In order to have a chance at enjoying it, I'm gonna need to retitle it in my head... something like "That Angelina Jolie Scoopy Sports Car Thing". - Roger Benningfield
