“Who likes the show NCIS? I am curious because I actually love the show and would love to know who else is with me. Also if you watch it, I would love to know why you do e.g. do you relate to a character, etc. :)”

Ziva is cute. - Aviv
I love that show. I'd love to say I can relate to Abby, but I relate more to McGee. LOL. - Trish R
I love 'boss' and d'nozo... If I was either of them I would live with a smile and a sigh :) and I love Ziva, she is very strong and I love that in a woman. - *Hammered Canadian*
I watch. I like Abby and McGee and Mark Harmon. Duckie too. I love the interaction between Abby and Gibbs. And Gibbs, despite all the gruffness, has heart and I like that. DiNozzo, though I know he's a favorite, actually gets on my nerves. But he's had his moments when he actually is nice so he redeems himself. - .·*♥pea♥*·.
I really really don't like Abby. Everything about her is so played out already. And don't you think she drinks too much soda? - Aviv
Ziva is not cute, she is smoking hot. Love the show. - Josh Haley
+100 for Josh. Smoking hot is more accurate. - *Hammered Canadian*
NCIS is in my Top-5 and has been. Writing, casting, drama, - more. - Charlie Anzman
but 24 better come back soon!!!! - Charlie Anzman
Yeah @Charlie I am missing 24, but ZIVA is sooooo hot :) - *Hammered Canadian*
Best charachter set ever put to work on "regular" channels. - Aaron Brazell
Didn't Ziva like just get 'semi-hot' this season? I mean the show really is good. What happened to the 'director'? Did they write her out? She and Jethro has a good thing goin' - Charlie Anzman
my dad likes this show - Pete Delucchi
Aaron - try a good episode of Criminal Minds - Charlie Anzman
I watch it sometimes. It has nothing that could make me follow the show every week, though. And yes, Ziva IS hot. :) - Alejandro S.
Spoiler alert in case someone hasn't seen last seasons ender: Charlie, they killed off the director. And the team has been disbanded. Gibbs has new people working for him. The new director apparently has a grudge against him or something. That part I'm not quire up on. - .·*♥pea♥*·.
@.·*♥pea♥*·.that sucks .. - Steven Hodson
Was wondering. Missed 1 and caught 2. She was one of my fav's - Charlie Anzman
I love the show. My faves on the show are Abby, Dr. Mallard (or Ducky) and McGee. :) I have missed this season though because of other things going on Tuesday night. - Molly, the Muse
The new director is just ambitious is what I thought and naturally distrusting of Gibbs because he doesn't yet have Gibb's loyalty and if you watch NCIS you know that is a BIG BIG factor for him when considering whom to support. - *Hammered Canadian*
I love NCIS! Gibbs is cool! - Colide81 (James)
I've never heard of it! - Ian May
@Ian you are so missing out buddy, one of the best drama's on TV especially if you like detective work without all the gratuitous violence. - *Hammered Canadian*
Ian go to cbs.com or just look up "NCIS the show" basicly NCIS is an intelligence department with in the United States Navy given the responsibility to monitor threats to the US Navy from with in and from out side the Navy who would wish harm against the Navy or it's sailors. Also NCIS monitors threats against US Marines in the same way. - Colide81 (James)
I don't mind gratuitous violence if it's a true part of the story, but when it's violence for the sake of it, with no plot. Still, I rarely get around to watching the TV, although I did watch one episode of a 1995 BBC drama about the Irish Potato Famine this evening. - Ian May
Ian: I watch TV loads but not exclusively its often with my laptop on my lap as I recognise as I assume you do too that TV is wasteful and so I try to mix my pleasure with some learning... That aside if you haven't watched NCIS I suggest you give it a go. Also on Torrent sites there are active torrents of Season 2, 3 and 4 so it would be easy to catch up :) - *Hammered Canadian*
@hammered canadian i'm not sure if "just ambitious" covers it. there was a very quick scene in which he pulls something out of some his or Gibb's personnel file and shreds it. there's a back story there from what i gather but i've missed episodes so can't quite piece it together. - .·*♥pea♥*·.
.·*♥pea♥*·.: It wasn't their file it was HIS file, but that doesn't mean you are wrong about the rest. It keeps it interesting though, we shall see where it goes :) - *Hammered Canadian*

“Erhan, what will happen to Turkey with this downturn in the global economy? You guys have such high inflation and so much consumer debt... My gf thinks jobs will still be easy to find... What do you and your buds thinK?”

I'm pretty sure American Thanksgiving will cause a boost in sales. You can rest easy. - Adam Turetzky
Roger: Here is numbers for your question(numbers talk): Economic growth this year fell to 3.6 percent(compared with the previous forecast of 4.2 percent), TL is now 22 percent weaker since the start of the year. The Turkish currency hit Friday the lowest level against dollar in 19 months. The index fell for a fourth day Friday -7.7 percent the lowest in more than three years. That brought the weekly loss to 18 percent. - Erhan "peanut" Erdogan
lmao @ Adam. Well played, sir. - P.S. You can't spell Turetzky without turkey. - Shawn Farner
..but Turkish web industry is still promising than others, we are having cool days of our webland. For ex. in these days Istanbul has a private deal conference http://tinyurl.com/vc-istanbul and also we are waiting a great season for new startups here. - Erhan "peanut" Erdogan
Erhan, I would like to come over and work for some TR startups helping them go global. I am not selling myself but if you think there is a need I have a desire to move there and help facilitate the growth of TR startups into the global market. I am pro-Turkey! :) - *Hammered Canadian*
... *of course* Turkish economy will also suffer from chaos and our growth will slow down as you said in numbers. But government and business opinion leaders talk about intervention against negative cyclical developments all day. My marker is car sales for TR. And last month, car sales fell 2.5 percent. But as I said before - web sector is so new and we need lots of new cool startups. - Erhan "peanut" Erdogan
Roger: I'll prepare you an analysis with the go-potential startups list. ; ) Come to Istanbul one day to take this work! ; ) - Erhan "peanut" Erdogan
@shawn hence my childhood nickname "turkey wings" and my online identity at most places "turkchgo". But I've tried to downplay this lately because there's some confusion to my nationality and religion online. I'm not a Turkish Muslim but a Russian Jew (well, I mean, second generation Russian Jew which is what 99% of the Jews in America today are, at least from the Chicago and New York area.). :) - Adam Turetzky
Erhan, if someone said come to Turkey and work for us especially istanbul I would be on the next flight... HONEST. - *Hammered Canadian*
Roger: I'll send you a mail about this journey - after some meetings with our startups. : ) - Erhan "peanut" Erdogan
Erhan: Do that pls, nothing would please me more than spending time there. - *Hammered Canadian*
PS. I seriously considered applying for the Xing community manager position but I just can't speak turkish yet, but they required that I speak turkish and I am not there yet. I need a few months in Turkey for that to happen. :( - *Hammered Canadian*

I was wondering if you blended it or what. - Bored
dude, the peanut butter is where you went wrong. counter-act that with beer and eggs and you'll be... well not better, but better off. Whiskey and Peanut butter? Oy! - Adam Turetzky

“Is it just me or does it look like Obama is going to kill McCain based on how much of a lead Obama appears to have in the Polls?”
Friday at 11:38 pm - Link
Is it just me or did it look like Kerry and Gore had sufficient leads at various times during 2000 and 2004 as well? - Louis Gray
There are polls that predict the election? How do they get the Diebold voting machines to answer the phone? - Bruce Lewis
Louis, that may be true, but the Republicans did not have so many issues in their campaings either. And, the Kerry and Gore leads were earlier in the campaigns, not this close to election day. - Rob Diana
+1 Louis. Not ready to break out the party hats just yet. - JodyUnwired
I agree with Louis, this huge lead in the polls is making me VERY nervous, especially with memories of 2000. - Trish R
I still like to pretend Obama is behind in the polls. This is the time for Obama supporters to increase their effort, not coast. - AJ Kohn
Agreed AJ. Although Obama looks like he'll take PA, I'm still going to return there to help drive folks to the polls. Can't be sleepin on this now. - Marko Bon
Good man Marko! - AJ Kohn
Why do people repeat the myth that Kerry and Gore both lead in pollls. It's just not true, especially after August of their respective years. But there's no need to get complacent. You should make sure everyone you know is going to vote and actually gets out and does it. - Faboo Mama
the Slate App on my iPhone compares previous races to this one, at this same point in the race. Doing better than Gore Obama is. - Marko Bon
