“I took the initial test and managed 35 push ups, which isn't too great since I could do a few more back in the day. Problem is my left shoulder keeps cracking each time I lower my body.”

35 on the initial test seems pretty good to me. - Erica Mauter
Seeing as column three of week one goes up to 10 push ups, it's not too bad. I'm just curious about the left shoulder and if it's holding me back. - Andrew Trinh

I also highly recommend getting a push up buddy if you don't have one. - Erica Mauter
My strategy for the 100 was to do them in groups of 10, pause for a breath or two, then do 10 more. As it got more difficult I'd push back for a stretch, but I never unplanted my hands and knees and never went more than about 4 seconds between groups of 10. - Erica Mauter
