"Allowing Flash — which is a development platform of its own — would just be too dangerous for Apple, a company that enjoys exerting total dominance over its hardware and the software that runs on it. Flash has evolved from being a mere animation player into a multimedia platform capable of running applications of its own. That means Flash would open a new door for application developers to get their software onto the iPhone: Just code them in Flash and put them on a web page. In so doing, Flash would divert business from the App Store, as well as enable publishers to distribute music, videos and movies that could compete with the iTunes Store." - imabonehead
"And aside from taking software control away from Apple, Flash would introduce a slew of other potential headaches as well. Flash apps could hurt battery life, suck up the graphics-processing unit's power, use an inordinate amount of memory, or potentially introduce security risks. Apple has plenty of customer complaints to address about the iPhone; the last thing it needs is to add Adobe and Flash to the pile." - imabonehead
I'm not going to discuss Apple's fascist business approach here... nuff said about that. But how could Flash possibly hurt the battery life any more? :P Seriously though, shouldn't it be left for the customer to decide? If I install, let's say Qik on my phone and it uses my camera and 3G connection in ways that sucks dry the battery in 45 minutes who am I to complain to? Customer experience can only cover the basics from the manufacturers side. The customer is responsible for everything beyond that himself! - Michael Leuker

Undoubtably the most annoying router on the market? Why is it does it suddenly become undetectable? GOD! I've seemed to try everything, anyone have suggestions? - sofarsoshawn
Have you updated the Firmware? Are you running Mac OS X Tiger or Leopard? If your running Leopard with and older firmware version you'll have connection issues. Have you tried connecting directly to the AirPort to see if you get dropped. If you've tried all that and it still doesn't work, try to reboot the AiiPort. If still have no luck, copy down your settings, and perform a hard reboot this will erase all your settings. You'll need to reconfigure the AirPort. Hope this helps. - Gerard Lagana

“Wow! Last night was Apple update night. First I received the iTunes 8.0.2 update. Then I got the iPhone 2.2 update. The 2.2 update also applies to the iPod Touch - "The funnest iPod ever." I guess next is Mac OS X 10.5.6 update.”

I wish Hollywood would realize that this only stops people who legitimately purchase content. It does not stop people who pirate content or manipulate content. Hollywood should concentrate more on delivering quality content and less on trying to protect that content. - Gerard Lagana
