I think the purpose of FF rooms is to be able have more interaction between users. They make it easier to create discussions and relay helpful and interesting material to those with the same interest. - Sharon McPherson
Picture yourself standing in a room with people who have a similar interest. The replies are all posted neatly under each original entry so it's very easy to follow the conversation. Click on the Real-Time link and everyone in the room can interact in a real-time conversation. Or you can enter the room at any time and catch up to the current conversation by reading the threads and comments/replies within them. - Gail Guy
