Roger, FF crew timed there major beta release after, both strand/feedly launched their beta services. So within the vertical of lifestreaming, FF had an opportunity to also ingest hard/soft features of their competitors This is a business after all. - Peter Dawson

@Peter...we must be doing a poor job explaining what feedly is. Feedly is not about lifestreaming and we do not compete with friendfeed (with which is we try to integrate when possible). Feedly is an attempt at building a personalized newspaper. - Edwin Khodabakchian

Peter: frankly I do not know and what I think does not matter it is what users think that matter: I have not heard a lot of people compare us with friendfeed because feedly is mainly focused around you and your content whereas friendfeed is a great conversation, discovery tool but I will try to listen more carefully. @edwin, fair enough . YES FF is gr8 for convo's. I;ll stand down, as feedly is my track point and also IMHO, its a known vector within this space. However, you are spot on with "what I think does not matter it is what users think that matter". yes the very freaky thing that nobody else on FF has really posted this.
