I find it entertaining that EVERYONE (except Owen) is bi-sexual and whenever there is a couple (except Gwen and her bf) they're always interracial. I know it's a show that wants to be progressive (and I don't have a problem with what they're promoting) but dang, can't they have a representative from the conservative side once in every 20 episodes or so? - Lindsay Donaghe

Actually, technically, Owen is bisexual. That was retconned for S2. S1 also had a few "conservative" families. The fairies episode, for one. - Nine

Melissa, I think that's really part of it for me, too. I got a car and stopped taking mass transit to work. That's something like 4 or 5 hours of reading time lost. I loved Franny and Zooey. Much better than Catcher in the Rye, IMO. - Nine
