Very interesting htper-local service -- the web has been waiting for this. Now -- will big brands learn to go hyper local, too? I can see the mom and pops, who rely on local advertising and yellow pages, learning how to make the most of this service. I'm a bit surprised consumers think this is creepy -- isn't dialogue the purpose of blogging? But I guess when a company ignores direct requests from consumers for so long, it's hard to imagine that same company responding to the voice in the wilderness. I love that there are 10 authentic voices responding to complaints on the web but wonder if they've done anything to upgrade customer care for the rest of the subscribers. If not, that number will likely EXPLODE as consumers catch on. The closer we get to football season, the more scrappy those subscribers seem to get. - Molly Metzger via Bookmarklet
