They can be lethal because he knew how to reactivate them. And while he was jailed after selling the deactivated weapons, that's not *why* he was jailed. He was imprisoned for selling arms that were illegal per the 1968 Firearms Act. - Stupid Blogger (aka Tina)

Well, I think that I have a stronger background in computers than the nerd in White and Nerdy. The more time a person spends studying Klingon, the less time they spend studying Javascript. While this can be compensated by a faster rate of learning, I think that if I were to concentrate my full time on Javascript, with the fictional nerd studying 50% Javascript and 50% Klingon, I would manage to overtake the nerd in Javascript skills. IMHO, Klingon skills are not as good as Javascript skills. - possible248

The problem is getting people to understand what the president's & staff's job is, then provide them with solid information on the candidates' abilities, alliances, history and stances on specific issues. It's getting better, with sites like and http://www.ontheisssues.org http://www.factcheck.org/ for starters, but the current media (and the medium used) still heavily favors "personality politics"--the "I like this candidate, so they get my vote" thinking. People get overwhelmed, so they just make the decision like they would in trusting a grocer or mechanic. - John Frenette via twhirl

I definitely understand the excitement that women may feel due to a history of disenfranchisement--the exciting feeling that a candidate might represent them because they are the most *like* them on the surface or in the day-to-day. As a guy, I have had the luxury of the last 200+ years of American history candidates, and know from experience that I don't agree with a candidate or want them to govern me just because they pee standing up, too.
